Coalesse Planning Ideas

Coalesse, Steelcase’s live/work brand of luxury furnishings, knew the A&D community was frustrated with the functionality of their online planning tool. They asked Conduit to create a better experience—without modifying the existing database or content management system in any way. Working within extremely tight parameters, we dramatically reshaped the user experience. An exploratory format with intuitive movement and zooming capabilities created a much more elegant interaction in keeping with the luxury of the brand. Fail-safe navigation made the frequent error messages a thing of the past. New features allowed designers to share and favorite their ideas and brought the system in line with current customer workflow. The result was a total transformation that astonished Coalesse and delighted users.
